Colchester Stadium
Congratulations to Colchester Borough Council, Colchester United and Colchester United Community Sports Trust. The first sod of earth was turned on the site of the stadium at Cuckoo Farm on July 23rd by Colchester's Deputy Mayor Cllr Peter Crowe and six-year-old Scott Mason. The Leisure Consultancy in association with Drivers Jonas prepared the Business Plan for the Stadium in 2006, which helped secure £10 million of borrowing for the project.
