January 2017 An evaluation of a number of HLF Projects that formed part of the Heritage Grants Programme
Background:
The Leisure Consultancy, as part of the Mott Mac Donald team, was commissioned by the HLF to undertake an evaluation of a number of HLF projects that formed part of their Heritage Grants Programme.
The nature of the projects reviewed included the conservation of historic buildings,museum re-developments, natural heritage, landscape themes and community projects.
In particular, the evaluation focused on understanding the social and economic impacts of the funded projects refecting their sustainability and heritage.
