Background:
The Leisure Consultancy was commissioned by the Ramsgate Tunnels Heritage Group to explore the potential to exploit the history attached to an air raid tunnel system in Ramsgate, and to review the opportunity to develop a visitor attraction based on the Tunnels.
The research undertaken, provided a strategic perspective of culture & tourism at both local and county levels indicating a strong established visitor base for Ramsgate Tunnels to tap into.
