Review & Preparation of a Business Plan for new Community Stadium
Background:
Brentford Football Club and Bees United recognised the need and opportunity to provide facilities that would generate commercial revenue seven days a week and encompass a more holistic approach to community provision rather than providing just for football. The promoters were proposing an innovative concept which combined: sport; education; health; commercial leisure; and social enterprise within a hub development combined with a hotel and conference facilities to maximise revenue.
The Consulting Team were commissioned to review the underpinning assumptions based on market research and our previous stadium experience, to inform the Business Plan for the new stadium. The operating business plan was changed in line with our findings and used as a realistic base case for the new stadium.
