Cumbria Wildlife Trust
The Leisure Consultancy has recently been appointed to carry out a feasibility study for a visitor centre on land gifted to Cumbria Wildlife Trust. The site, located just two miles from Carlisle, covers 36 acres of organic farmland and will allow the Trust to establish a base in the north of Cumbria. The role of the team is to review potential development options for the site, including the provision of visitor and education facilities, which would increase knowledge of the Trust’s work and expand awareness of organic farming and environmental conservation across the region.
