A new Performing Arts Hub for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Sheffield
For the aspirations of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Sheffield to build on its 'world leading' reputation the need for a purpose built performance facility was identified as a crucial component.
TLC was appointed by the Faculty to review the existing performing arts facilities at the University and to provide a robust case for development. Although a number of facilities are presently used fore the performing arts, these are 'dotted about' the campus and in general are not fit for purpose. Ths study involved extensive consultation with variuos members of the Faculty, student representatives and external organisations/agencies with the key findings supporting the development of a new Performing Arts Hub.
